As founder of Elite Lawyer Spain, I help international clients, developers, real estate agencies and investment funds navigate the legal complexities of luxury property transactions in Marbella, the Costa del Sol and Ibiza.

I began my career as a litigation lawyer, but after several years I decided to leave courtroom work and focus on property law, where I could use my language skills to assist foreign clients in purchasing property in Spain. I opened my own law firm in 2000 to specialise in this field.

Over the years, I managed offices across several locations in Spain — Marbella, Estepona, Málaga East and Ibiza — as well as an international branch in Natal, Brazil. This experience gave me deep local knowledge and an extensive professional network built over many years — an invaluable asset when advising clients in complex property transactions.

At this point in my career, I made a deliberate choice: fewer clients, deeper attention, more focused advice. Today I work with a select group of clients and agencies who value direct, personal legal counsel throughout the entire process — supported by a small, trusted team, not a large impersonal firm.

I come from a family of property lawyers rooted in Marbella since 1965.

My father was one of only two lawyers in the city who spoke three languages — a rare distinction at the time — and looked after clients for some of the area's best-known real estate agencies. My brother Alejandro, Doctor of Law and President of the Instituto Español de Estudios de Urbanismo, brings additional expertise in complex urbanism matters when needed. My sister is a court barrister specialising in civil cases.
